Rotary valves

Rotary valves are used to separate plantdifferent pressures and discharge bulk materials. Here, too, the requirements profile determines the application! Our rotary valves are available in standardized nominal sizes from NW 315 to NW 2000. We pay particular attention to the nature of the material, the pressure conditions and, last but not least, safety issues such as fire or explosion protection.

Basically, we differentiate between the individual rotary valve types based on the application, the material to be conveyed and the respective conveying volume:

Rotary valves ZLF

applicable for flowable dusts, wood granules, chips and fibers
Rotor of the rotary valve with rubber sealing lips
Differential pressure from 70mbar
Throughput volume depending on size from 5.6 up to 1,025^m3/h

Rotary valves ZNL

applicable for free-flowing dusts, large-volume wood granules, coarse chips and fibers
Rotor of the rotary valve with rubber sealing lips
Differential pressure up to 50mbar
Throughput volume depending on size from 2,500 up to 8,640^m3/h

Rotary valves ZUF

applicable for flowable dusts, coarse chips and fibers
Rotor of the rotary valve with different sealing elements according to the respective application
Differential pressure up to 600mbar
Throughput volume depending on size from 12 up to 381^m3/h

HDL rotary valves

Can be used as a feed and discharge airlock for flowable dusts
Upper knife, double stuffing box packing
Differential pressure up to 250mbar
Throughput volume depending on size from 8.3 up to 798 m³/h

Rotary valves HD

can be used in pneumatic high-pressure conveying systems
Brass seal in lid, upper and lower knife, double stuffing box packing
Extra heavy duty
Differential pressure up to 600mbar
Throughput volume depending on size from 9.3 up to 400 m³/h

Rotary valves can also be designed as type-tested protective systems (ignition and flame arresters). Discharge and conveying elements are crucial for the availability and operational safety of dust removal.

To minimize wear, we offer our rotary valves alternatively with wear-resistant steels or with wear-resistant coatings.
