Project details

For the construction of a new HDF (high-density fiberboard) production plant of Swedspan in Poland, LHS supplied a turnkey solution for the extraction of the chips and dusts generated as well as for the hall ventilation (complete HVAC including adsorption refrigeration system) and for the transport and storage of foreign chips. The plant was put into operation in July 2011.

Components

  • Suction piping
  • Bag house filter
  • Pulsing round filters
  • Rotary valves
  • Fans
  • Silos
  • Conveyor system (mechanical and pneumatic)
  • HVAC ventilation system

Operating principle

Chips and dust are extracted from the individual production machines via four pneumatic groups. Each of these groups consists of a fan and filter, in which the dusts are separated and discharged through rotary valves. The production hall is air-conditioned via an HVAC system including an adsorption refrigeration system, thus achieving maximum energy efficiency. A separate plant has also been realized for the conveying of foreign chips including suction, for which trough chain conveyors and a high-pressure system are used.
