The robust design of the round filters is used for special dusts, high pressures and high material loading of the gas to be filtered. The round design of the round filters combines the characteristics of a fabric filter with those of a cyclone.
The tangential raw gas inlet enables a separation effect in the lower area of the housing that is comparable to that of a cyclone. As a result, a large part of the material is already separated by centrifugal force even before the gas flows through the filter media.
For cleaning, compressed air is blown into the filter bags in pulses in a countercurrent process. The abrupt inflation of the filter bag causes the dust to fall off and can be removed from the process. The material is discharged via downstream conveying equipment. Wear protection measures are applied as required in the material inlet and discharge areas.
